Archbishop of Canterbury: 'Christian doctrine is offensive to Muslims'

H/T: WorldNetDaily

According to the Anglican Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams:

Christian doctrine is offensive to Muslims, the Archbishop of Canterbury said yesterday.

I should certainly hope so! And it IS offensive to everyone who denies the Three-In-One God of Heaven. Otherwise, why would anyone bother arguing, much less dieing, for the cause of Christ?

Dr Rowan Williams also criticised Christianity's history for its violence, its use of harsh punishments and its betrayal of its peaceful principles.

Of course there have been excesses - on all sides. Humans are sinners. That includes Christians, too. Or hasn't ++Rowan noticed?

Yeah, those mean ol' ancient churchmen. We're so evolved nowadays we can't even defend the truth of our faith any more.

I'm not so sure ++Rowan is entirely right about "peaceful" principles, either. What about the passages that say Jesus' cause will set brother against brother and such?

Appeasing terrorists and murderers, even of the so-called "religion of peace submission", just isn't good policy at all. When will the hairy lefty of Canterbury figure out he's redundant and mostly ignored. His political soul-mate, the Hitler-appeaser Neville Chamberlin (British PM from 1937-1940), would've heartily approved of ++Rowan's overtures to the terrorists.

A thousand years ago, when the Crusades were begun to rescue Jerusalem from the hands of Muslims, would they have agreed with today's supposed head of the Church of England? What does the Queen think? After all, she's supposed to be ++Rowan's boss.

God Bless Ya'll !
