"Churches Open Doors to Muslim Worship" - So says the article headline.  *I* say:  WTH!?

I'm certainly all for churches sharing their facilities as and where possible.  After all, the last two we've been associated with would not be operating without such generosity.  When we were forming St. Timothy's Anglican in Spring, Texas several Tomball churches blessed us with access to their space.  I'm sure there was some monetary consideration traded but nevertheless, they opened doors and their people made us feel very welcome and comfortable in their space.  Our current congregation rents commercial space for Sunday services and holds occasional special events in, and with, other Christian congregations.

Now we read about Christian churches opening their doors to worshipers of false God(s).  Nowhere can I see that YHWH and Allah are the same, much less compatible.  In my mind, this act is the same as slaughtering a hog in a Jewish synagogue, or a Moslem mosque or on the high altar in St. Peter's Basilica.  It gets kind of messy.  In Old Testament terms, this strikes me as child sacrifice to Baal.

Wait a minute.  We're already doing that.  Legally.  Since 1973's Roe vs. Wade decision.  We don't call it Baal.  We call it Choice.

God Bless Ya'll !
