Guns on Campus Gets First Approval in Texas House

H/T: Newsmax

Good news from our local congress-critters.

Please remember, the "students" mentioned are already certified as being "adults" by all states.  You have to be 21 or older and a non-felon, among other things, to acquire a Texas concealed handgun license.  In other words, what's the difference between carrying on the street and on campus?  If you can't answer that easily, just consider what happened at Virginia Tech, University of Texas and any other location declared a "gun free zone".  Gun-free until some chooses to bring one into the area.

When someone misbehaves, we call the guys and gals with guns.  The Israelis know that having the tools already on scene, in the hands of volunteers, saves lives.  Why can't we learn that same lesson?

God Bless Ya'll !
