Chicago Cardinal Suspends Obama Buddy Father Pfleger

Do you believe in coincidences?  I really try not to.  Especially if they occur on the street and involve strangers suddenly appearing behind me or in my face!


However, when some things happen, you just have to ask if it was planned.
For example:  Last night at our church's small group gathering we discussed the way our former denomination, TEo , had not handled incidents of error and down-right sin.  Certain leaders of the church (ex: Pike & Spong) went off the certified deep-end and never came back.  They were left in "leadership" positions to and instilled rot into the church.  Forty years of rot left us an organization celebrating more of Earth Day and less of the Resurrection.


According to my sources, the "leadership" tut-tutted but did nothing to actually correct the situations.  All of this happened before SWMBO! and I joined, or were otherwise outside of, the Episcopal Church.


Today, I read about a Roman Catholic Cardinal who had the brass to slap down one of his trouble-makers.  Good show!  I'm glad someone is standing for the truth received from the Apostles!
