This article reminds me of quote that I associate with a firearms trainer:
Now we get to read of Mark Fiorino suffering the "uncomfortableness" of legally carrying a gun for whatever reason he chooses. Philly cops put him on the ground, cussed him roundly, refused to acknowledge his rights as a citizen and threatened him with deadly force for the alleged "crime" of legally carrying a gun - openly and with the required permit.
A gun should be comforting, not necessarily comfortable
I wonder how long will it be before another innocent citizen is permanently denied his rights (ie: murdered) by cops who do not understand their own codes or refuse to follow those they do understand.
Police spokesman Evers is quoted as saying:
Yes, I'm sure Philly has lost officers. They're doing their duty. How 'bout all the citizens that lost their lives because they were disarmed by ignorance or stupidity?"Philadelphia, in certain areas, is very dangerous," he said. "There's a lot of gun violence." Several officers have been killed in the line of duty in the past three years, local authorities say.
God Bless Ya'll !
